Object Tree

Visualizes images and image folders as objects on a tree structure, and lets you manage the objects.
With a typical painting program, users determine which images are displayed in front of others by altering the stacking order of layers in a layering interface.
Unlike other programs, AnimeEffects uses an Object Tree to determine the layer display order based on each object’s depth value.
The Object Tree manages layer objects and folder objects.
Layer objects contain images, while folder objects group together multiple layer objects.

Timeline

Each object has one timeline.
We can chronologically place transformation parameters called keyframes on each timeline. You can use the keyframes to create animation.
The vertical black line indicates the current frame in a timeline. The Main View displays the animation preview at that frame.
You can left click on a specific frame on the timeline’s measure to move to that frame.
  • Move a keyframe

    Left mouse drag a keyframe.

  • Select multiple keyframes with selection box

On a blank space, left mouse drag until the desired keyframes are in the selection box.

  • Move multiple keyframes at once

While multiple keyframes are selected, left mouse drag the keyframes.

  • Copy a keyframe

Right click on a keyframe and then choose “copy key” from the pop-up menu.

  • Copy multiple keyframes at once

While multiple keyframes are selected, right click on the keyframes and then choose “copy key” from the pop-up menu.

  • Paste a keyframe
